Welcome and Introduction…

We welcome and thank you for visiting the South Florida Council of Advance Practice Nurses website http://www.sfcapn.org/  We are a group of nurse practitioners who meet the 3rd Tuesday evening every other month for the purpose of networking, updating our knowledge base and supporting one another through collegial relationships.

Our goal is to promote the visibility, viability, and unity of all nurses engaged in advanced practice nursing. We accomplish this by maintaining, following and promoting our organizations missions and goals that are posted on our website. We do this because we believe that united we can increase the public’s awareness of the role of the Advance Practice Nurse in Healthcare.

As you take the time to visit our website please note we are not an inclusive group of nurses but one part of a network of nurse practitioners with the same purpose. Our ultimate aim is to provide quality health care that is both accessible and cost-effective for our patients and their families. We provide this service by working with and in collaboration with physicians.
