ARNP Cardiology Practice (Aug 2008)
Cardiology practice needs ARNP with national certification,
for weekend hospital rounds. Prefer someone with cardiology experience.
Work either every other or every 4th weekend, no beeper call, no night
call. Will do consults and follow up visits in conjunction with
cardiologist at Memorial West, Miramar, and Pembroke Hospitals.
Census usually runs 10-20 patients. Possibility for fulltime in future.
Great opportunity for someone with experience, who cannot work fulltime

Nurse Practitioner
Position Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the overall smooth operation of the clinic in which he/she works. This position greets and provides medical services to walk-in patients. The NP is responsible for revenue generation and cost containment in his/her individual clinic and must maintain the highest quality of care and customer service.

Qualifications:
1. Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) as Family Nurse Practitioner.
2. Active license, AANP or ANCC certification and credentialing in the state in which he/she will be working required.
3. One year experience as a NP.
4. Excellent telephone, interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to prioritize.
5. Good computer skills.
6. Ability to travel within the region 10%.

Responsibilities:
1. Provide the highest quality of medical care to our patients.
2. Assure that the clinic remains open for all scheduled hours.
3. Work with the marketing manager, Regional Manager of Operations, and directly with the consumers to generate increased utilization of the clinic resulting in increased revenue.
4. Correct any situations, noted on the customer service surveys, that can cause negative feedback
5. Manage the clinic's inventory and order supplies and services to maintain the clinic.
6. Perform quality control on instrumentation as scheduled.
7. Utilize the Company information systems as directed and in compliance with HIPAA regulations and Company policies.
8. Keep nursing knowledge current by attending ongoing nursing education seminars.
9. Provide coverage for other clinics in the region as needed, and as assigned by the Regional Manager of Operations.
10. Control costs at the clinics to meet the budgeted profitability goals.
11. Maintain a presence in the community through active membership in local nursing organizations and through participation in community outreach programs.
12. Present a neat, well-groomed image, wearing a clean, white lab coat, in compliance with Dress Code.
13. Other duties as assigned.
